The Role
As the strategic partner to senior manufacturing leadership, you'll deliver the financial perspective needed to steer an environment shaped by fast-moving innovation. The scope covers financial planning and controlling across several sites and driving improvements to the SAP cost accounting platform. You'll assess major capital investments and safeguard sound standard-cost practices for a sprawling catalog of 20,000 SKUs — all inside a capital-intensive, discrete manufacturing setting of enormous technical depth, spanning more than 100,000 BOMs and routers.
This job reaches well past the ledger and expects you to break down operational silos. Rather than staying in the weeds of daily plant controlling, you'll offer executive-level guidance on make-vs-buy analysis, value-stream costing, and capacity planning — aligning the shop floor with headquarters so that growth doesn't erode coordination and inventory stays well managed.
Within a quick-moving, innovation-heavy culture where a bias toward urgency can obscure opportunities for efficiency, your job isn't to 'pinch pennies' but to advance fiscal discipline through earned trust. By developing genuine credibility with plant leaders, you'll roll out advanced value-stream tracking and utilization modeling — proving that rigor in costing and inventory isn't about clamping down, but about sharpening excellence to power the next decade of innovation.
You'll additionally be the main point of contact for accounting shared services and both external and internal audit, while championing the forecasting tools and headcount reporting systems that keep the company competitive.

Your Team
You'll head a committed team of six spanning the South Carolina and Florida campuses, among them a Senior Finance Manager responsible for day-to-day site operations.
Systems & ERP
Solid command of SAP-FI/CO in a manufacturing setting is essential here. HANA exposure counts as a major plus given the team's eye on a coming S/4HANA migration. You'll spearhead financial upgrades to the SAP cost accounting system and guarantee dependable product costing through standard-cost methodology in SAP, including partnering to strengthen the accuracy and integrity of SAP master data.
Travel & Remote
Although based in Naples/Ave Maria, FL, you'll keep functional responsibility for the South Carolina operations. Movement between locations is supported by the company's corporate aircraft, so leadership stays visible across every manufacturing hub.
